HALF UMBRELLAS

Zapp are always striving to create solutions to clients needs. The latest in a long line of innovations is the half umbrella. This is the perfect solution for shelter against a wall when more traditional solutions are not possible. The half umbrella can be deployed daily without fuss. It is based on the the market umbrella technology and is therefore available in two models.

The umbrellas can be easily erected within 30 seconds, given you a quick and easy solution of providing cover. The material choice is important, so we give you the option of choosing colour, an acrylic or a coated polyester, depending on your particular requirements. The shape of the half umbrella is of course rectangular with lengths stating from 3.0m.

MODEL DESCRIPTION

The Lambert model is all manufactured from tensile aluminium reinforced at the stress joints with stainless steel. It has 6 tensioned ribs as standard and is very good value for money. The canopy is either polyester or more robust acrylic with a scalloped valance (straight edge as option). Hooking points for rain gutters and side sheets are fitted every half metre inside the valance. A clever tension bar is fitted as standard to ensure tautness of the canopy

The RS Plus market umbrella is manufactured using tensile aluminium as the core of the roof frame and reinforced with stainless steel. The mast is 35mm dia 2mm wall stainless steel. This gives superior rigidity and strength. As with the Lambert there are 8 tensioned ribs. The large models in the range are fitted as standard with a telescopic facility to enable the open roof height to be adjusted. The canopy is either polyester or more robust acrylic with a scalloped valance (straight edge as option). Hooking points for rain gutters and side sheets are fitted every half metre inside the valance. A clever tension bar is fitted as standard to ensure tautness of the canopy

MOUNTING

The half umbrella can be mounted in a portable stand with extra weights for stability or a ground socket or you can use the unique Zapp wall kit. The latter is designed for situations where unobtrusive mounting is particularly important.

Accessories

When the half umbrella is free standing or in a ground socket a tension bar is needed to hold the shape of the canopy. An integral tension bar is possible on the 3m size.
