Zapp has completed a 8.5m square retractable canopy for the Old Ship Hotel which is fitted with LED lighting. This unit free stands and replaces the original marquee structure. Zapp worked with a local fabricator to create an unsupported front beam so that the view of the hotel was not obscured.

We are delighted to have been involved in the refurbishment at The Woodland Spa, part of the multi award winning Crow Wood leisure complex in Burnley, Lancashire. The Spa now boasta a new outdoor bar, seating, fire pit area and outdoor pool. The retractable roofing systems that we have installed allow the outdoor space to be used all the year round, as well as looking really smart.

We were very pleased to be asked to make and install 2 large new canopy awnings at the new Patisserie Valerie Shop in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Each awning was over 5m’s in length and had branding on both the canopy and valances. All the canopy awnings are made to order in various styles, with a huge range of colours and options.

We were very pleased to be asked to supply and install our NEW ‘Split’ screens,the first to be installed in the UK. They look as though they have always been in situ. Unlike our original AGS screens which uses a counter weight bar system, the ‘Split’ screen uses the glass panels to counter weight each other.
The split screen offers is a unique product, in that you always have protection from above and below from the elements, however it offers the option to open them up on a nice day. www.lakesidekitchenandbar.com

Zapp replaced all 3 of the awning covers at The Clifton Lido, the week before Christmas, much to the amusement of those dining and watching the work being carried out, especially as you are standing on ladders right on the waters edge. These awnings were installed quite a number of years ago, however they are always looking good as all the component elements can be changed as necessary

Five Guys, has just opened its newest offering in Paris at 49-51 Avenue des Champs Elysees. Zapp supplied the 32m of Cit i La Height Adjustable glass screens that have been integrated with the canopy covering. In order to ensure stability as the screens are not able to be fixed to the ground, the contractors have integrated wooden planters.

Working in this prominent location near Vauxhall Bridge, the installation of Vortex Umbrellas has really transformed the outside space of Four Degree Restaurant.

Zapp were approached by Watergate Bay Hotel to find a design which allowed The Beach Hut to better utilise the existing outdoor decking area. We installed a Radian 7.5 x 4m retractable roof. This unit is attached from the facia of the restaurant covering their terrace area and has AGS height adjustable glass screens integrated to provide complete protection. LED lighting and heating complete a very stylish and practical installation with wind force 11 performance which is ideal for this sea front location. The restaurant now has an outdoor area which can be used in the warmer weather with the roof open and the glass screens in the lowest position, or it can be used in the colder weather with the roof closed, heaters on and the screens at the highest setting.

Zapp were approached by Montagu’s to provide a shading solution for their outside terrace area. We installed 2 Elegant umbrellas outside of the café bar, each Elegant umbrella is 2.5m x 2.5m with granite bases each weighing 55kg.
