Zapp were approached by Watergate Bay Hotel to find a design which allowed The Beach Hut to better utilise the existing outdoor decking area. We installed a Radian 7.5 x 4m retractable roof. This unit is attached from the facia of the restaurant covering their terrace area and has AGS height adjustable glass screens integrated to provide complete protection. LED lighting and heating complete a very stylish and practical installation with wind force 11 performance which is ideal for this sea front location. The restaurant now has an outdoor area which can be used in the warmer weather with the roof open and the glass screens in the lowest position, or it can be used in the colder weather with the roof closed, heaters on and the screens at the highest setting.
